The answer to that question can probably be answered by the best fitness expert on how many reps you need to complete of something. Maybe it means you need to shake it a little harder in that aerobics class. Maybe you didn't give it your all that day. Maybe you don't have time to get in the gym in the morning and at night. Maybe you just love snacks, maybe a little too much. All of these maybes right? People find what works for them, whether it's the latest and the greatest or it's "old school." Whatever it is, the ONE thing I do not see people talking about are the INNER issues that happen as to why a person can't lose weight.
Maybe its that bad relationship that you are in that is so unhealthy you use food for comfort. Or maybe its alcohol. Maybe you have so many hectic days in your business, school, work, etc and you are so stressed out you eat the chocolate cake late at night when you have that moment to yourself where you feel the most comfortable. Maybe you don't take time out for yourself, so when you do find time you get "wild" with it and eat or drink whatever. Basically when you look behind the scenes to someone's story as to why and how they lose weight. They may say, it was others things they had to drop in addition to the self discipline to make it easier such as: LOW SELF ESTEEM, JEALOUSY, ENVY, LACK OF DISCIPLINE, UNHAPPINESS, LACK OF JOY, STRESS, DEPRESSION, UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, CHANGING THEIR CIRCLE, etc. The list can go on. The answer could be that there is way too much going on in the inside that you cannot focus on the importance of going to the gym, why you deserve the apple over the cookie, why you over eat, why you put the wrongs things constantly in your body. If this is your struggle there may be something that holds you back. Whatever you need and want it's already in you. You just have to dig deep and bring it out. It is waiting on YOU. Replace the unhealthy and the healthy will appear.
Let me tell you my story briefly: When I had my third child, I had so much going on in my life. I was told when you have kids you never get your body back. I was told it's all about the kids and it is not about you any longer. I felt that as any mother that it was too much. One day I had a change in my life where I had to make some tough choices on a variety of things and people. These choices in the circumstances I dealt with made me realize the impact unhealthy had on me. If I didn't find a way to remove it, how could I move in a greater capacity in my life? Simply put, I had to remove the negative words and negative thoughts. I did that by reading my bible, spending time with God, and I learned the power of words. I learned to listen to His spirit and not so many others, that He lead me to who I should listen to when I needed it. ( I learned much more by the way). I spoke to myself, I spoke to what I wanted: healthy relationships, dreams, goals, healthy, Stress free, Worry free, get back to the weight I wanted, and so much more. When those UNHEALTHY things removed. So did the weight. I saw a new me. It hurt, but it was well worth it.
